Junior Leadership Team (JLT) at Wolvey CofE Primary School

At Wolvey, we believe that every child’s voice matters, reflecting our Christian vision:

Our Junior Leadership Team (JLT) represents this belief in action. One child from each class is chosen democratically, reminding us that everyone is valued and has an important role to play within our school community.

The JLT meets weekly with Mr. Parker to share ideas, listen to others, and find ways to make school life even better. They focus on improving playtimes and lunchtimes, and helping to choose new resources that bring joy, inclusion, and friendship to all.

Being part of the JLT helps pupils grow in confidence, service, and responsibility, following the example of Jesus, who taught us to lead not by power, but by serving others with love and humility.

Through their leadership, JLT members help Wolvey to be a place where every voice is heard, every child is valued, and everyone can learn, flourish, and shine together in God’s love.
