E-Safety Champions

E-Safety Champions at Wolvey CofE Primary School

At Wolvey, our E-Safety Champions help us live out our Christian vision:

“Embracing equality and experiencing excellence… among us you are all equal.”
(Galatians 3:28, MSG)

These pupil representatives, chosen from across all year groups, play a vital role in helping everyone use technology wisely, safely, and kindly. Guided by Christian values of respect, responsibility, and compassion, they promote a positive and caring online culture within our school community.

E-Safety Champions receive special training to understand key digital issues such as cyberbullying, privacy, misinformation, and safe communication. They help lead assemblies, class discussions, and events such as Safer Internet Day, encouraging others to make thoughtful, respectful choices online.

As approachable role models, they offer support and guidance to classmates who may have concerns about their online experiences. Working alongside teachers, staff, and parents, they help create resources, posters, and digital guides that promote kindness and safety in the digital world.

Through this role, our pupils learn that being an E-Safety Champion is about more than technology — it’s about serving others, protecting one another, and using our voices and actions to build a community where everyone feels safe, valued, and loved.

Together, our E-Safety Champions help Wolvey children to shine online — using the internet in ways that reflect care, integrity, and faith in action.
