  • What have we been doing? A review of the first 6 months.

Tue 12 Mar 2019 Mr Edwards
Wolvey School has been federated as part of the Ignite Federation for just about 6 months now. It is a fair question that people may ask; just what have we been doing in that time? Whilst some changes and developments may be obvious, (this website for example) there is a great deal more that has happened behind the scenes. To explain a little of what we have been up to and where we are going next, we have produced a summary review document which you can find here.
  • New uniform

    Tue 05 Feb 2019

Thank you to everyone who connected with us through our uniform consultation. We had exactly 60 responses which was incredible. The vast majority were very supportive and so the proposal to adopt the new uniform is currently going through the process of ratification at Governor level. We have listened to feedback from parents and will be ensuring that the new 'v' neck jumpers will be made of the same easy wash material as the current sweatshirts. We will also be introducing the uniform over time for all existing pupils in school; there is no requirement to rush out and buy the new items until they need replacing; it will be compulsory for the new reception 2019 intake. We have also engaged 2 suppliers to give you more choice; MatchFit in Nuneaton as well as Tesco online, (which is now called 'My Clothing'.)

More information will be available later in the year but we are very excited as we create a 'fresh start' with our uniform and enforcing it so that ALL children look smart and feel proud. Thank you for your support.

  • NEW school website - coming soon

    Tue 05 Feb 2019

During February half term, (or very soon after) we are anticipating our new school website will be going live. It will be exactly the same address but will have a much more corporate look and feel to reflect our professional approach towards raising standards in all aspects of school life.

We have a videographer in school on Monday 11th February to take the footage for the video home page and you will then get to see the first sample of children wearing the new school uniform for that video.

Look out for this and please bear with us whilst we then set about ensuring the content is completely up to date and useful for you.
